This is the first book of the Maxfield brothers, in which we learn the background of the family and their business.
This is the story of Stephen. Stephen have issues with his father and have been away from his family for a long time but now that the family business is in problem is called back to his family home. Angie is the VP of Finance of the Maxfield business, she is a strong independent business woman. The chemistry between them since they meet is incredible, it was great to see them know each other, learn from each other and how they slowly became in love.
The story is entertaining, has drama, romance and family relationships, have a twist.The ending is very sweet.
The narrator Connor did a great job, I liked his voice and it kept me entertained, wanted to listen more.
