The FMC was annoying, poor MMC. Story fell flat. I really wanted to like this book ever since I heard about it on BookTok, but not my fave. Narration was great though!

Samara ended up being a backstabbing snake to the man who has done nothing but take care of her?! I can’t. I was hoping for romance, but nope. If you like stories about the making of a villain, then this is it.
