This story is a 1st perspective that goes back and forth between the present and the past and focuses on the main character’s relationship with “Snack”. I really enjoyed the stories about how they bonded when they children and again how hey met again as adults, but it felt a little disjointed at times. Also the high school/college retellings felt rushed and just seemed a little unrealistic to me which in turn made the story fall a little flat at times. I thought the narrator did a great job and definitely enhanced my enjoyment of the book.
