I enjoyed these episodes of the goings on at the Roche hotel and the developing romance between Jane and Henry. The stories are warm, funny, and a little sexy. I loved the ongoing attempt by the elderly prior owner to “cover” the statue’s nasty bits. This is the beginning of a series, so you don’t get the end of the story in this book, and it definitely left me wanting to listen to season 2.
The audiobook delivery was perfectly paced and well-voiced. Very enjoyable, and short enough to listen to in a single sitting.
