very flawed logic, tons of unsupported assumptions, poorly organized, poorly expressed, poorly written, bad examples… just sloppy and not ready for public, reads as if it was not edited… a waste of money. the fact that it claims to be a nyt best seller just shows you the trash that most people used to reading a leftist rag like nyt have come to accept as writing. the entire worldview is skewed by the authors 1960s level understanding of biology… they should have stuck to AI or got some experts on biology to help them. everyone knows that darwinism is disproven and a bunk mantra but these guys are going on what they were brainwashed to believe in high school science. it would have been far more valuable and a better use of readers time if they would stick to AI and not try to lecture people on biology! just because you are an expert in AI, does not make you an expert on biology or the history of the universe! another area where they show complete lack of understanding is philosophy. there are many computer researchers with better grasp of philosophy who have written compelling works.
