I loved the storyline. My only complaint, which is also why the story is so long, is the FMC is a bit whiny and naive. Over half the story is spent with her arguing with everyone about the signs that were right in front of her. I can understand, not trusting herself after the past but it really was in her face AND everyone was telling her.
The only other thing I will complain about is, how much better this would have been if there was dual POV. I would have loved to hear Ian’s side, which would have been a lot better than all the crybabying she did.
Outside of her relationship problems, Kelly is a great FMC. Strong-willed and independent. She owns the room when it comes to business meetings amd yet, instead of being intimidating, everyone loves her.
Ian is the perfect example of regretting past choices and willing to fight for his love. There were moments, I even got chills from the way his love is portrayed.
Regardless of my hangup in certain things, I still very much recommend this!!
