17 days on the floor, and 30 hours until the Hunt starts. Carl is now #1 on the leader board and the bounty is $1 million dollars doubled. As Carl enters the floor, he is portalled into the office of Orrin, the syndicate liaison. Carl has a good idea of what he is in ‘trouble’ for this time. They are worried about what he will do on the sixth floor with the Gate of the Feral Gods. There are multiple representatives and someone from the media.
They can remove all of portal access. Things like personal spaces, pet carriers would fail and a bunch of other impacts that would kill thousands. The second choice is to accelerate Carl which would lead to attack after attack until he died. This would kill him and anyone around him. The third choice is to temporarily give up the gate temporarily until the ninth floor. Carl is stunned so he does want anyone else would do in this situation, he asks for a lawyer.
After being released, Carl is last in line for a class upgrade. Princess Donut has chosen the Bard class, she is a legendary diva that sings to cast spells. (Enuff said). During the selection of class, you are given 10 minutes and chat is not enabled. Mordecai tells Carl to choose the melee class if one is offered. Carl is the only one left when an NPC starts talking to him. He tells him to stay out of the city and if you go in the jungle stay on the trail. He is given a choice of 3 classes – 1) Revolutionary – on the front line, melee and strength, 2) Gorilla – you take the fight to the jungles, trap maker, advanced trap maker workshop and dexterity and 3) Agent Provocateur – bomb and bomb making, sapper’s table, bomb maker’s workshop and intelligence. It came down to under the final minute and Carl went against Mordecai and chose Agent Provocateur.
As Carl leaves, he ends into the Jungle in the pouring rain. He follows the trail, and just as he is about to head into the middle sized town, the two level ninety five guards fall parallelized. Carl is attacked by something invisible. He puts up his shield and after trying to hit whatever it is, he grabs powder and throws it around. He realizes he is being attacked by a pet. He hits it, then realizes as he is bit from the back and parallelized, that there are two. He yells/texts Donut to come help.
