The MC / pilot is an absolutely arrogant shithead. And when he screws up he doesn’t own it. When normal things happen he goes into thi self deprecating/self-pitying BS that makes me want to slap the living daylights out of him. The book is awesome and interesting but Jason? She could use both an entire humble pie and a psychologist.
