The first 4 books were fun, but it’s really dropped off for me. Especially with the bedlam bride. This book was boring and felt pointless. I don’t think the author knows where the story is going and that’s really reflected in his writing. Character development is not super polished…or very existent, the humor is childish more so than clever and more times than not, he just references things that are arguably better than his own works. I think with more care this series could have been something quite spectacular, but I feel the author is so distracted with his new found fame and social media sensation that he can’t stay focused on what got him that in the first place, which is this story of his.
