The story was an amazing 5 stars! I absolutely adore Lonan and Ash. I’m glad I’m reading this after the series of completed, because that cliffhanger would have killed me. Instead, I get to jump straight into Book 2.
As an audiobook, the narration is terrible. I’ve listened to Joel Leslie before, with no issues, but I had to switch to the ebook for this one. The MMCs are both 21 years old, but he sounded like he was 80 years old. I still could have powered through, but when I got chapter 29, with a prolonged *ahem* intimate scene, it was an absolute “no” for me. š¤¢
