I really love this series and this is the best book so far. I love how the character growth and even relationship grows from each book.
So here I’ll say…trigger warning. In this book I think the one mc is turning 21 the other is a college professor seeking tenure. So a very large age gap with a barely legal main character. If this bothers you read with caution or skip. There is also mentions of kidnappings and tortures throughout the series as Aaron’s parents were horrible psychopaths and killers.

So in this book the third we get more relationship growth as both characters realize they have feelings. There is suspense as people start dying and seems connected to Aaron BUT is tge connection really aimed at Aaron? Read and see. Its a nailbiting, intriguing story.
Now I’ve listened to audio and I love Piers’s narration. His voice is deep so gives an ominous feel and yet I can tell Aaron and Kenny’s voices. He also carries a good depth of emotion.

If you like Psychological thrillers, large age gap
Teacher/student, twists, dark romance, suspense you will love this
