This book was entertaining. I really enjoyed some of the new characters. I also couldn’t stop laughing about the damn goat. There were some absolutely great one-liners. I’m moving on to the next one. I didn’t read this one as quickly because of life, but that doesn’t affect how I feel about it. I’d say it was a little more engaging than the second one, especially with the complexity of the trains and the teamwork. I think it was a great way to get Morticia to shut up for a book because I don’t know how I was going to listen to him croak the whole time. It gave the team some independent thinking without reliance on others. This one definitely felt more filled with combat, blood, and gore. I’m ready to see where we’re headed next; my guess is it may be some Mad Max-style stuff. Glurp glurp.
