As a huge sci-fi lover I thought this might be an interesting take on alien human interaction. Yet you hardly have any aliens in the book. Sure they are talked about but there is very little to engage the reader about the aliens. This… book, feels like the first third of an actual book. The main character goes of to boot not much actual story.
The author also over uses imagery in explaining details in some cases.
