Would you consider the audio edition of Son to be better than the print version?
Considering I didn’t read the book I would say Yes, That being said I bought this book as a deal of the day and I consider it one of the best books in my library.
What other book might you compare Son to and why?
It would not do this book justice to try and compare it to another, one of the great aspects of this book is how much the world and attitudes have changed since the time these crimes were occurring, Law enforcement and most people viewed rapists as someone who rapes for sex and therefore someone who is good looking cant be a rapist!

What does Kevin Pierce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His performance fits the tone of story, he doesn’t take anything away and does more of a narration than story telling so it probably doesn’t differ much from the print version.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
” You wont stop shaking your head with disbelief! “
Any additional comments?
This book does a great job exploring the lives of the victims, their families and relationships before and after their assaults. It also exposes how lax attitudes by law enforcement and the media allowed this psychopath to prey on women unsuspectingly for years but it is the psycho’s relationship with his mother that is the most intriguing part of the story and you wont stop shaking your head in disbelief!
