What would have made What’s Left of My World better?
A few more chapters bringing all the storylines together.
Has What’s Left of My World turned you off from other books in this genre?
The super paranoid anti-government undertone and overly specific gun love (every time a gun is mentioned, it is mentioned by its exact model) turned me off from the actual story.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
The narration is not one of Kevin Pierce’s best. Sometimes it felt like he read something for the first time by pronouncing the individual syllables of a word instead of the whole word.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from What’s Left of My World?
Since they have no effect on the main story I would cut out the whole detention centre bit. I guess the idea is to bring that storyline together with the main one in a sequel, but in this book they are just a weird standalone that does not at all tie in.
Any additional comments?
