There was a tremendous amount of action in this book, and the layers of storylines were distinct and enjoyable to follow. There was something of a Pulp Fiction disjointedness to the story’s flow, as there were multiple flashbacks. It is easy enough to follow, as long as you are paying attention.

Jeff Hays did a fabulous job narrating. Not only did almost every character have a unique voice (though some of the females sounded similar), but he put on appropriate accents. He also mixed in several different vocal effects that I haven’t heard before. He was a joy to listen to, and a narrator I plan to follow.
