A lot of reviews said that it starts out slow and then gets interesting. ‘Starts out slow’ usually means the first few chapters, not the first 3/4 of the book. This book feels like I’m listening to my mother talk about her day. Discussions with the customer service rep, family drama, going on a date… I do understand why some would enjoy this slow pace, but I was expecting more after the other reviews.
