I wouldn’t say this story is completely unique, it is definitely worth listen to though!!
This series begins on Earth and very quickly transports our MC’s to a progression, Isekai/Portal, LITRPG fantasy style story all overseen by a supposed god, who is more like a mad scientist.
Our MC’s create & increase their personal adventure guild pretty fast. As well as acquire their girlfriends (even though neither know how to be good & functioning boyfriends & lack common sense on the interactions). And they kind of fall into gaining their family/clan more by a chance encounter than anything else. Not to mention their popularity status increases exponentially! They become well known fairly quickly without power leveling up so fast to be beyond belief.
They are honorable & fair men who truly believe that fighting for those who can’t is nonnegotiable.
Jeff Hays unsurprisingly does a phenomenal job with narration! I absolutely love that when a character has an internal thought process going on, that Jeff decides to make that clear by not only using their original voice, but by also creating an echoing effect to reassure that the listener knows this is an internal thought & not something actually being spoken aloud.
Can’t wait to see where the story takes us!
