This one is so out of my wheelhouse that I feel I must tell how I discovered it.
While I was attending a musical at the Hobby Center, I noticed this book sitting behind the bar. The cover caught my eyes because of the cat. So, I began I asking the bartender about the book. Skip forward a few weeks, I figured the story sounded like something my son-in-law would like so I asked him if he thought I would like it. Sure enough, he knew the series and encouraged me to read it.
So here I am with one Dungeon Crawler Carl book finished. It is quite the ride. Entertaining, engaging, and fun. I think gamers would love this series. I will definitely continue on with this series to find out more about Carl and his trusty sidekick Princess Doughnut. However, this one was very intense for me so they want be back to back.
