I wanted to love The Correspondent more than I did. The premise felt promising, but for me the story was hard to stay fully invested in. There were a lot of characters and moving pieces to keep track of, which made it difficult to feel deeply connected to any one storyline. While there were moments I appreciated, the pacing felt slower than I expected and I found my attention drifting at times. Overall, it wasn’t a bad read, but it didn’t quite hold my interest the way I hoped it would.
