I enjoyed this book from start to finish. I do consider at times he was more selfish and self-centered than I would like a main character to be, but he was in the. Chair Force, so there’s that. (Just kidding my spoiled Air Force brethren! Just kidding!). So the Cap is a former PJ. Probably the first SF (Science Fiction) that had a former Chair Force SOF airman as the MC. Being a PJ ain’t no damn joke!!! But he does have moments of self pity, self abasement, and general selfishness – more than I like but what can this old dog faced soldier say? It’s a really good book. Well worth both price ($12 something or a credit shekel.
I actually started on that other series that this series tees off, but after listening to that first book, 📕 decided to go back in time and get the OG story and I think I’m going to be glad I did.
Narrator does an excellent job. And Josh D? Well he can write himself some sci-fi folks. That he can.
Listen and enjoy and the. Get book 2. That’s what I did and I’m not disappointed.
