Huge moral delima. You can’t say you want to save people then kill people because they don’t want to fight monsters and hide. If the last 2hrs or the book didn’t exist the book would have been great. Huge disappointment. MC has foreknowledge and doesn’t use it for a single smart thing. Instead of gaming the system to amass a huge number of point or team up with forerunners to level he waste precious time hunting down a dead beat dad. Also if he knew exactly how the ruler of the flying city would react why waste time and energy trying to talk to him. Nonsensical at best. Also if the 2 people he wanted on his team are so great there is no reason for him to come up with his stupid excuse for knowing everything. He could easily just tell them the truth that he is a regressor. I would have overlooked all of the MC’s other stupid decisions until he decided to play God and kill a whole city because they didnt listen to him. You can’t make people progress/climb it’s their choice. If the MC was an anti-hero or xp greedy or some other mechanic that justified him killing a city then fine, but don’t say you want to save everyone and then kill a whole city.
