This is one of my favorite series and I love revisiting Travis and Charlie’s story. In this installment Charlie is faced with confronting his insecurities about losing Travis. He stubbornly refuses to believe that Travis will stay with him and in doing so it almost becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. It is another wonderful but emotional roller coaster that Joel Leslie navigates brilliantly. He has toned down Charlie’s Australian accent from the first book and it really makes a difference. I was drawn into the story immediately and once again he made me cry with Charlie’s realization when faced with losing Travis. Can’t wait for Book 3.
