I have no idea how this book comes recommended by anyone. There is no plot. The letters are mundane and boring. The entire “story” is an old woman who seems like a pretentious person writing correspondence that has no point and in the real world, would be forgotten almost immediately. The book doesn’t even start to have a focus until the last few chapters. The one positive is the cast. Having a full cast makes audio books better. But that doesn’t save the title for me.
