Bobby Akart is a favorite of mine and Kevin Pierce is definitely my favorite narrator. When I saw the thirty hour boxed set for one credit there was no doubt I’d love this. One of my favorite genres is this type of end of the world story. The characters in this story were good. Some of the scenarios were a bit far fetched and I would have liked to hear a bit more at the end about the federal government and if Hank became mayor after Lindsey. I loved that there were a lot more “good guys” than villains in the story. Many of this type of book have every man except the main character killing and pillaging. Overall I’d say this was a great listen.
