Seems like it has a lot of similarities to ACOTAR and TOG .. not very original… the narrators are great though!

Accidentally skipped book 2 and only realized halfway through. At this point I was bored with their romance so I won’t go back. I love pirate stories and a woman pirate especially – but why is The Queen of Pirates still not a captain by the end of book 3 (4th in the series)?

The whole story is horrible. Could have been a lot better and had a better story line.

plot is completely absurd, the spiciness is mediocre and overall it was hard to listen. don’t recommend at all.

The end is not how I imagined it to end very love romantic story that has an interesting twist and end

it took almost the entire first book for me to feel engaged, and even then I didn’t feel super into it. I did finish it, but only because I paid for it. this is one of those that I’ll likely not reread. performance was solid, but the story was meh.

Action scenes are good. Overall story arc is good. And I like most of the characters. My problem is with the female lead, Laney. She is too whiny and makes too many stupid mistakes for me. But that is just a personal preference….I don’t like the damsel in distress arc. I find myself fast forwarding..
