This one started a little slow for me, but quickly sucked me in. Would continue with the series.

This 2nd chance romance was sweet, clean, romantic and angsty. It kept me glued to my kindle app for the last day. Love the Jane Austen inspired plot and the football references. A really great read that I highly recommend!
This story was difficult to get into but then got very interesting. It was a little quirky. Very blunt at times. I liked the spice. Story line was easy to follow but crazy. Narrators did a great job.
After reading The cat and mouse series by H.D. Carlton I needed something similar and this was perfect!
I felt the main character lacked any redeeming qualities and I didn’t care at all what happened to her. Honestly I got so far into it I had to finish it. I like thrillers but I had no connection to any of the characters at all
I’m not familiar with this author and bought this book on sale not expecting a lot (lots of urban supernatural books have been a let down lately). This book had more laughable moments between the ML and FL. The ending was definitely hilarious 🤣.Really good series, and I am not upset I came across it. I love the development of the ML & FL, and loved the move the ML pulled in “THE” situation. I’m excited to hear the family’s reaction to..
I thought the story dragged in the beginning and I didnt love the characters. maybe it was the narrators. specifically the male narration. it got better as the story progressed and things are revealed. Sort of a a Christian Grey like story.
The narrators were great.I am not much of a fan of the Female Lead not knowing her value and worth in terms of her skills. That repetition was a bit upsetting, but beyond that it was great!
