I started out liking it, I liked the authors voice and the tone she hits with her writing. There was interesting tension building and so much could have been done with the truly villainous mmc. But for me, that tension was wasted when the fmc was so forgiving that it was impossible to suspend disbelief..

Really loved the people who did the audio and the story was great. Hayden’s character was possessive but not too over the top, enough that you knew he loved her. Cali’s character was strong and didn’t let him walk all over her. The connection between them was good. It made me have to read both..
