Voice to MMC did not match. Was hard to get into Hayden’s dialogue because the narrating sounded like a slimey and creepy stalker versus an obsessed, loaded, and all consuming force. I NEED audiobooks to do better.

This was spectacular! I wish I could give it more stars. Narration was immaculate. If you listen, definitely refer to the accompanying pdf. Because holy world building!!!!! Extremely frustrating. Main characters are both ridiculous. I’ve already invested too much time to stop now though. I’ll listen to the 2nd book with hopes they both get hit by a truck…. Someday. Not anytime soon though. Surely the story gets better. Narration was good.
