I’ll be reading this instead, I’m only 4 chapters in and I do like the story so far. But I don’t understand the point of casting male and female narrators, only to have them read both male and female parts anyway. I find it super distracting and annoying. Takes so much away from the story..

This book was predominantly narrated in the fmc perspective. It drove me crazy towards the end, because there wasn’t any great delve into Riofr’s story. Maybe that’s coming in the next bbook, but I won’t be ppurchasing.

So I LOVED the first book and instantly bought book 2 but, unfortunately, this one fell flat for me. This whole book just felt like filler. FMC and MMC constantly miscommunicate.
