I absolutely enjoyed this story didn’t get bored easily and sometimes books can be drawn out for far to long and this one was just the right amount can’t wait to read the second book.

I started this because of booktok and I don’t think I’ll be going for the second one. While I think I’ll get answers in the second book I just can’t bring myself to force my way through another one of these.. so very drawn out.. if I have to hear about these damn pearls anymore..

Such a fun ride!! There was a lot going on and the 1st half of the book is in 2 different timelines, so I had to slow it down a little to able to follow everything. lol. The narrator is absolutely amazing!!!

I loved both the writing and the narration! The narrator was amazing and captivated the listener so well. The story was intriguing and I look forward to the next book!
How many times does she need to put the safety on the gun? Like really, that was overkill. That was the only thing bad about the book.That drove me nuts!!!
I wanted to like it. I kept waiting for it to get better, but by the end, I was just ready for it to be over.

I purchased at sale price & I wish I could return. I know I won’t listen to this again. It’s a little repetitive, the narration is ok, but most of all it just didn’t give what it was suppose to give. I was underwhelmed. I finished simply because I spent actual money. It’s not horrible…..
