There was a lot of potential here. The disaster was not the focus in the end and that was really disappointing. The love story felt rushed and was the focus of the whole end.

Maybe this would be a good book to read at the beach, that’s the kindest thing I can say about it. Full of the standard tropes and cliches about CIA operatives. My eyes were rolling a lot, like during the contrived Krav Maga scene and the spaghetti scene. Yes they threw flour at each other,..

I think this might be the best yet can’t wait till book 3.I have all of his other books. I listen to it over and over while on the new ones to come out.

I felt so bad for Aspen most of the time, but I did enjoy the book you have to be open-minded and the spicy scenes were great
