This is such a great start to a story that we might actually see play out in our country. If you feel like your country has betrayed you and looks at you as just a sheep to tax then this is the book for you.

ok a heads up that this was a reverse harem book would have been nice. I don’t listen to those.the only reason I didn’t overall rate this book a 1 star was the fact that it wasn’t too hard core and I skipped those parts.

Another great outstanding apocalyptic thriller. I can’t wait for books 3 and 4. Mr. Bobby Akart has done it again!!!

The audiobook narration was great. My problem; and it is MY problem, is the angst. I had a hard time getting through the story as there was so much tension, drama, soul searching and self-sacrifice by the heroine (who I found likeable, but unlikeable, at the same time). Are the characters deliberately obtuse? This happened throughout book 1 as well. I’ll get the 3rd to complete the series, but there was a so much miscommunication, I almost have to question whether the writer knew what the answer to the argument was as she was writing.
