I’ve read 3 books in this series and I had high hopes for this one. But the mmc narrator sounds like a 60 year old man reading a bedtime story. It so mismatched the character that it distracted from the story.

I loved the pacing of the story. The narrator did a great job with distinguishing the characters. I absolutely loved the story. 100/10 world highly recommend.

Nope, nope, nope. All the other ones have been cute until now. You don’t sabotage someone on their date by embarrassing them like that. I couldn’t even make it through the chapter, that was unbelievably painful. There are so many ways this could have gone without it being mean, even if it was well intentioned.
It took an excruciatingly long time for these two to get it together. What a wonderful story. The narrators were great.
If you’re looking for a military action book series, this is not it. For six books you follow essentially one family. If you want a personal side, this is a good series, but if you want a more military story, look elsewhere.
