Rafe and Jenna are cute togther. They a great connection. Their story is filled with humor, and drama but for the most part lighthearted. Rafe is a very lovable character. This is a very entertaining and enjoyable audiobook with a narration the fit the characters and story.
Not much is happening. And in a really slow pace. Halfway in to book one I changed the speed to 1.50, and later to 1.85. And it still took to long for something to happens.I’m not looking for action (violence or sex) all the time. But MC wondering about the real owner of his body..

I loved this book, the characters were so well-drawn and likeable, especially Rafe, a gorgeous panther shifter, his personality is so upbeat and fun-loving, and very little seems to get him down. I love his loyalty, love, and protectiveness and who couldn’t help but admire his confidence? As for his antics well they had me..
I picked it up for the introduction by Rachel Maddow and couldn’t put it down.The reading of chapters with alternate voices made it a pleasure to listen to the story for an authentic representation of the authors. One pet peeve that made me cringe for the German partners was the mispronouncing of the German newspaper..
I’m glad that I read the book but it’s frightening. Well researched investigative reporting. Thank you to all the reporters putting their lives in the line to tell the truth and keep truth alive.
