I like that the author, a former, didn’t in update the audience with an over abundance of tech, or “tradecraft” jargon. I didn’t mind the darkness of this story but the narration of Aspen was hard to listen to. It’s breathy the while way through. I said I wasn’t gonna listen to book two but the cliff hanger got me.
