The story moves so quickly, with actual heart pounding action, that I listened a second time to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Even with that, I found myself drawn in and kept in the middle of the action! Highly recommend this series!

There’s SO MANY CHARACTERS in this story. And every character has an animal companion, so every scene has about a dozen different names in it. Nobody gets any characterization so it’s hard to keep track of what is happening to who.These are supposedly members of Royalty, yet the actual citizenry only matters when it’s convenient..

This was so good! I enjoyed the hate to live storyline more than I thought! And the two characters involved are extremely good for each other! When Brody learns the truth of what Ardens life was like… and she learns the truth of his life and family… they find out what truly is important.
This was a good addition to the Five Roads saga. Ian and his crew are leaving El Paso, trying to reach another safe house. Along the way, they encounter survivors, military (US and enemy) and, of course, Zombies! There is a lot of action, a bunch of new characters and DOGS! I loved the addition..

Unwanted and unexpected pregnancy. Had sex with some relative of the bosses for recreation. Protection not as good as it should have been. Fired by the boss for unrelated reason. Met sole mate. Characters mostly under developed. We never even met the baby daddy. But what was there was entertaining.
