Too much character background segments and there would be jumping between them and felt a bit disjointed at times.
Messy Ink by Ali Lyda is the second book in the Get Ink’d series. This is a contemporary m/m romance between a talented and loving doctor, Chris, who needs to learn to forgive to get a second chance, ….and a bad boy tattoo artist, Dane, who needs to learn hes worthy of the great love..
I liked it. In book one of the series we are witness to a scene that announced LOTS of drama for Christian and Dane, and, well… yes, lots of drama *laughs* One of the things I liked the most was the way in which both characters were aware of their issues and shortcomings, and how..
Swoon! First let me say, I love Dane and Christian in Daddy Ink. I knew their story would be just as great by itself when we only got a glimpse of it in the first book. Both Dane and Christian have their own past histories. They’ve both been through a lot in their lives and..
Connor Brown is so good! He adds so much character and strength to get main character, Dane and Christian. Like the book beforehand, Daddy Ink, both have so much emotional baggage that it takes so much pain on each one to grow. Dane and Chris dancing around each other then getting to talk to each..
I loved Christian and Dane!! Dane had made horrible choices as a teen and was trying to be a better person. Chris was a doctor who grew up wealthy but had been deserted by his father. He had a hard time giving people chances because of that. This was so good!! All the side characters..
This book was soooo much better than the first. I loved both Dane and Christian and the deep dive into their pasts. So sweet, and so smart. I loved how much Dane got into therapy and his entire personality was amazing!! I’m so excited to read Channing’s story next!
its getting hard to find good books to listen to an you should know by now anything with a W J Lundy on it is good.
Jake Bible is a talented writer. This series is as action packed as it is funny. These stories deserve a better narrator.
