After listening to the first three Chase Baker books, I’ve grown to love his smart-butt, hard headed adventurer. They are great books, however, this one fell flat to me. It’s worth a listen but it’s not something I would reach for again, or go out of my way to recommend.

Exactly what the label says, he is a solider there’s monster girls and a tasteful amount of sex (not over the top and not incredibly long and drawn out), martial arts and magic isn’t over the top in depth so don’t worry if you aren’t a samurai expert or anything. Overall I loved this book..
