This Steve Jobs character connected immediately…not a superhero, feet made if clay, living proof that no good deed goes upunished yet he puts himself on the line to do the right thing anyway. Sometimes he gets lucky; sometimes badly scared. He is open and unpretentious, and the narrator is wonderful.

Dover is the guppy prince and he feels the mating call. His friends help him to follow this call and it’s pretty instant for Dover and Ben. I loved their story and they were so cute together. Also Chubber is the cutest otter ever. This was a sweet story with some plots that will continue..

I love the authors books. And audiobook versions too. This is a different take on a virus that decimates the planet. Can’t say much, spoilers. But no zombies. No problem. Don’t always need zombies. Viruses are truly scary enough. Ammon is one of her best characters. Truly well developed. I’m hoping there will be another..
I’ve read and now listened to the story. Hearing it adds depth to the story. As if the characters are telling their story. How many of us could survive without power. Or cars? This is the arc of the tale. Grab this. We all have time to listen to books. Enjoy!
Ians a merc and leads his team fighting the invaders. My kind of story. Best book so far. Hope the coming ones are as good.

It was a very good book couldn’t put it down at all I loved it
