I enjoyed listening to this book, even though I tend to shy away from the zombie genre, but I gave this book a chance as I enjoyed another trilogy of this author, A Path of Ashes. I’ll certainly be continuing the series and may delve into other zombie books by author’s I’ve previously read!
I thought it was a very good conclusion to the series. The climax of the story was a bit fast for my taste, but to be honest, I cannot think of any other means at which it could have played out without harming the story and that is the only critical thing I can say..
At first I thought this was another boring military book but I was WRONG. This book turned out to be really good with a lot of action, humor, and amazing characters. I liked how the AIs were made into characters and developed personalities. Andrew Wehrlen is always A++++
