The story is disappointing compared to crave series and the narrator pushes it over the edge her voice seemingly hurts to listen to

I like Lundy’s books. Great stories, well written. But I can’t stand this narrator. Absolutely ruined this story. Even Kevin Pierce would be better, and I’m not a big fan of him either. Ray Porter would have been an excellent choice.
I couldn’t stop! I stayed up far too late, but I couldn’t stop listening! Super entertaining and raises so many inward emotions.
When you finally got to the actual characters, they were creative enough to keep the interest of someone typically from their upper teens through their middle 20s however, the repetition between the books is difficult to get past. It’s the same story told from a couple different perspectives then it switches to a slightly different..

Solid nuclear war series. Narration is good. Slow start but kicks in about 3/4 way in book 1.
I dislike that we would never know the sex of Hollis and Ellen’s baby 😞 I also like the intimacy that was revealed 😊
