I really enjoyed the first book, and was hoping for the same in this one but it was a frustrating read, the FMC kept pointing out the same thing and her inability to see reason over and over again I was over that. I almost DNF’d the book but towards the end there was a..
I love this author and his books. Unfortunately the narrator through me off for this book. I may not do audio for the rest of the series though.
The concept was good. But so many gaps in the writing. She was stirring pancake batter then holding a baby in her lap. She was on the balcony then in a stairway. She’s in a car with a Navy Seal and he doesn’t notice they are being followed? I was able to skip full chapters..
The narrator does a great job. He also narrates other authors that I listen to. This series is awesome. I began them several years ago in book form before starting the story over and continuing in Audible form. You won’t be disappointed if you enjoy good post-apocalyptic stories with zombies involved!
I had high hopes but this book was so slow. It felt like the write was trying to create tension burning but … it just came across as long conversations that took chapters to complete. Overall 2/10
The narration was such all the characters blended as one. The tone and inflection was monochromatic. Try listening to Joel Froomkin,
All I can say is..boring. Sorry. I tried to hang in there bc I bought with a credit but now I’m just pisses that I spent a credit on this.
You come sum up this book with the statement buy index funds. There isn’t much else to it. Yes, the book is correct and a classic for a reason, but if you already know this then you can skip this book as important as it may be.
