Great Read

Review from The Sam Savage Sky Marshal Boxed Set →

The Sam Savage Sky Marshal Boxed Set was a great read by Vincent Zandri. This boxed set consists of Dead Heading, Empire Runaway and Tunnel Rats. It follows Sam on some of the most dangerous assignments. I enjoyed reading about Sam’s assignments and how he fights the bad guys.

Unique twist on an old standard!

Review from The Dust of Dawn →

We are presented with the first volume of a new series. Perhaps this is a new trend; since this is the second or third book I have come across with aliens behind the apocalypse. The tale starts off with the typical comet hurtling towards earth scenario. Instead of hitting earth, causing human extinction, the comet..

Waiting on the next book.

Review from Five Roads to Texas →

This was a great book and I can not wait for the next book. This book was fantastic as it tells the story of five groups of people (and one cat) make their way to a safe haven in zombie filled America. I was unable to tell that there were different writers writing the book…

One heck of a story!!

Review from The Dust of Dawn →

This book was out of what I consider a normal genre I listen/read. I was very happy when I found myself waiting to hear the next part of the book. Following many people keeps you wanting the story to go back to the character to know what happened. I can’t wait until the next book..

Life doesn’t end, but it does change, and as the people in infected area struggle to survive, the government..

These books play out like an Action Movie. First two books are your classic hostage plane/train and has some decent tough guy action. The third book is Sam Savage becoming a spy in Vietnam and has a bigger and sinister bad guy. The third book has a lot more story, danger, and risk. I really..

Once again Kate Canterbary gives us an amazing book! If you have never listen to any of her books…GET THIS BOOK NOW!!! In this genre, she is by far one of the very best. This is a standalone, no cliffhangers book. There are slight references to things in her other books and a couple crossover..

A very interesting take on the genre.

Review from The Dust of Dawn →

A very interesting take on the post-apocalypse genre. I enjoyed the story and the characters but it was the world building that really drew me in. The grungy background to the plot kept me asking questions and getting excited when my questions were answers. I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending though. Andrew B…

Long Slow Invasion

Review from The Dust of Dawn →

This is a long and dusty slog through a apocalyptic event that is parts meteor strike, zombie and then alien invasion. There are a variety of overlapping characters that have some kind of connection, but don’t interact (yet). There just seems to be too much going on with slow progress in the story. It seemed..
