I almost gave up after the first 3-4 hours. It is incredibly slow. Then the story picks up and becomes more interesting. But the ending seems quite rushed and sort of fizzles out. This was a great book. Where the story begins was different, but I didn’t hate it. I was thankful for the snippets of back story that made it easier to get the depth of feeling for each other. The HEA was not what I was expecting either, but it went along with the whole “different”..
