I’ve listened to all Bobby’s books. This is one of the best that he’s done. I really enjoyed and look forward to every minute of listening
The author desperately needed a better editor, lots of repetitive and overlong prose, too much of the story was clearly silly and disbelief could not be suspended.
I went into this novella with no expectations, and the qualitative writing and narrative construction are much better than I could have anticipated. The relationship is built through interactions versus instalove and suspension of disbelief.
This was a hard story for me to listen to. Not because of the content, but because there were so many times during the story that I had to rewind because I couldn’t remember how we had gotten there. His name is Stone, but his real name is William. He had an internship which is..
flawed heroine and fallen angel are perfect parts to the story. They both need each other but have to overcome their past. Great narrators and great setting for the story.
Love the dominance, submission, taunting, the heat. I think it was good narration. Plot/scene seem to jump all over.
Just confusing. I found this story difficult to follow, often rewinding to understand, and sometimes still confused. Lots of moving parts. Also, confused on accents of characters. So yea, not bad, but a little harder to follow, compared to the other stories in this series. Liked the wrap up/epilogue.
Characters progress very well and their personas stay consistent throughout their story, and the way they interact with each other very enjoyable
The technical details of space can be a little difficult to follow initially, if you are a constant multi-tasker lie me. A little re-listening here and there, but I was hooked! I have the second book playing now and I am already eager for 3 & 4!
Stone did not deserve her. The mistakes he made and his disregard of her pain was forgivable and having her return to him and forgive him was cringy.
