This started out a bit slow and confusing, but interesting enough to keep me reading. It became more intriguing as it went along and by the halfway point I was totally captivated. Sometimes I felt that there were too many details of the physical settings. Overall, I found the book intriguing and exciting!

This story has been extremely difficult to listen to. The voice artist is great but the writing is lack luster.I find it hard to follow primarily because it’s so boring. I recall at chapter 9 wondering if the story would ever go anywhere. I have liked (though not loved) the previous stories in this series..

Bobby always writes the type of books you can’t stop listening to. I wish they were twice as long! Can’t wait for the next!

I have read and enjoyed many of this authors books over the years. This series has great potential but is such a slow burn. All 4 books could have been condensed into just one. I really liked the characters and would have enjoyed them being fleshed out a bit more.
