I love the quirky characters in this series. The books are standalone listens and yet mention characters from other books as a side note. The narrator adds so much to the story with her multiple characters she performs in distinguishing voices. I really enjoy this series and am glad I requested this review copy audiobook..

Adorable modern retelling of a classic story. Super cute take/twist on this fairy tale. I really enjoyed it. Narration by Angie Hickman was great. She was right on point down to her ‘twang’ she going. My only complaint was that I wish it was longer! But I guess that just means author Jamie Brook Thompson..
Ms. Thompson seems to have quite the imagination. I am enjoying these modern day fairytales. I also like how Ms. Thompson plays with the traditional fairytale elements (names and origin of traditional fairytale (Belle, Cindy (Cinderella)). Fantastic story with some very funny characters, loved the ending. This author is one of my favourite when looking for a short/novella that will keep me entertained.I haven’t listen to one audiobook book that Angie Hickman has narrated that I haven’t enjoyed. Her comedic timing is impeccable, it`s always a joy listening to her work.
I do not appreciate, nor do I agree with the disrespect shown for law enforcement throughout this book. Other than that, it’s a cute and quite humorous story with a good message. I received a review copy at my request and voluntarily reviewed.
