I didn’t figure out who did it and I usually do. I do enjoy a good soft mystery with a clean story line.
I love this whole series for its character development, the cohesion of the plotting, and the performance by the reader.
I tuned up the speed after hearing almost a whole chapter talking about a car with some stickers…then gave up. The main character is unattractive. Considering it’s a rather short book, wasting a whole 13mins chapter seems too slow for me.
I was so excited to listen to this next installment of the Melanie Travis series. I love dogs, I love cozy mysteries, and I love Laurien Berenson’s imagination and knowledge of so many breeds!
The story was fine. Nothing special, cute characters decently developed and good descriptions of the beauty of Colorado and Estes Park. The breathy, high pitched narrator almost had me stop listening to it in the first two minutes, though. This was supposedly a 38-year old woman? Sounded more like a tween breathlessly relaying stories to..
Loved how the author expresses the feelings of girls/ women making it in sports and careers that are dominated by boys/men. Having the main character work through those feelings and still be able to fall in love with and respect a man, all while achieving and pursuing her professional goals was very empowering! Also mixed..
So the first thing is the main character is about as forgiving as they come with a man who genuinely loves her but yet she spouts non-judge mentalism to everyone else. This is a very liberal slanted book for those of you who would care… Ridiculous storyline that takes place about the secret of one..
This is one of her best books yet! Very personal to the main chacharacter. I like that! Ready for her next book.
