The narrator’s Australian accent sounded like a bad JFK impression. The name Saffron… got old. On the other hand, I’m a sucker for animals in a mystery and the chickens were charming.
it just didn’t stand up to the previous one. the main male character, began in the previous book was too different and the female lead, I didn’t like at all.
